GetChars(Byte[],Int32,Int32) Method

Decodes "byteCount" bytes from the given byte array, starting from the byte at index "byteIndex" and returns the resulting string.

Syntax

public System.char[] GetChars( 
   System.byte[] bytes,
   System.int byteIndex,
   System.int byteCount
)

Parameters

bytes: The array of bytes to convert to chars.
byteIndex: The starting index in the byte array to start working from.
byteCount: The number of bytes to convert.

Return Value

The resulting chars.
